Programming a garage door opener in the UAE depends heavily on your motor brand . While many online guides focus on American-style motors, most villas in Dubai and Abu Dhabi use European systems that work very differently.

Not all garage door motors program the same way. Start by identifying your system.

Use this method only if your motor is LiftMaster/Chamberlain/Craftsman style with a visible Learn button.
Locate the Learn button. It’s typically on the motor housing near the antenna or under the light cover.
Activate learning mode. Press and release the Learn button once. The LED should turn on or blink. You usually have ~30 seconds.
Program the remote. Press and hold the remote button for 2–3 seconds. Release when the motor light blinks or you hear a click.
Test the door. Stand clear and press the remote once. The door should move smoothly.
